Ashworth College

Ashworth College is a career centered college that offers master's, bachelor's, and associate's degrees and diplomas in specific industries with the main goal of helping students become employed in their field of study. Ashworth specializes in lifestyle friendly programs that allow students to be able to balance other commitments such as work and family while they attend school. Ashworth College currently offers over 100 programs that students can choose from. Ashworth is fully accredited by the Distance Education Training Council (DETC) to award degrees and diplomas.

Ashworth offers many forms of student support. Live orientation sessions are held every week at 11 AM EST. The orientation provides details on how to access course materials, and which people to contact for help. Each student at Ashworth also will have a team of dedicated student advisors that will help them navigate the system. Advisors can be reached via email, phone, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and the Ashworth forum.

Tutoring from instructors and professional tutors is also available. The tutoring is one-on-one and provides students with an effective method for understanding their class material. Tutoring is available in virtually every subject. Peer support is also available through the Ashworth forum or the Ashworth social networks. Students are able to form study groups, exchange information, and network with each other.
