Coyne American Institute
Coyne American Institute was founded in 1899 making it one of the oldest career training schools in the United States. Coyne currently operates two campus locations in the Chicago, Illinois area. The main campus is located at 330 N. Green Street in the Fulton Market district of Chicago. The campus is a total of 76,000 square feet and was built in 2004. The secondary campus is located at 230 West Monroe Street in the heart of Chicago's Loop area. The Loop campus has 23,000 square feet of classroom space, laboratories, administrative offices, and common areas.

Coyne American Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. The school also has a certificate of operation granted by the Illinois State Superintendent of Education, and is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Each individual program has industry related licenses and certifications as required. Coyne is approved to award associate's degrees and career diplomas.
The main campus specializes in offering HVAC and Electronic Systems Training while the Loop campus offers medical health care training. In all, there are a total of 14 programs offered at Coyne. The Pharmacy Technician diploma program at Coyne offers students the training required to become an entry-level pharmacy technician. Pharmacy technician jobs are expected to increase faster than the average occupation through the year 2014 according to the United States Department of Labor.
