Eagle Gate College
Eagle Gate College is a career and occupational training school with three campus locations in Utah. Eagle Gate College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, which is listed as a national accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. There are five separate schools that make up Eagle Gate College: the School of Health Care, School of Business, School of Health and Wellness, School of Justice, School of Design and Technology, and an online division. In total Eagle Gate College offers seventeen career programs.
The Pharmacy Technician program offers a diploma or an associate's degree. The diploma program can be completed in twelve months while the associate's degree program can be finished in eighteen months. The associate's degree program is a total of 91 credits and includes thirty-nine general education and college core courses as well as fifty-two credits in pharmacy technician courses. The program ends with a six-credit externship where students work in a pharmacy. The externship may be done in a wide variety of health care settings such as a retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, long-term care clinic, or rehabilitation clinic. Students must successfully pass the externship in order to graduate from the program.

Eagle Gate College also offers placement assistance to students in order to increase their chances at getting a job in the career that they have chosen. The career services include interview preparation, resume writing, professional conduct and appearance, career fairs, and networking.
