Everest Institute programs can be taken at one of the many campus learning centers or 100% online. Not all campus locations offer every program as availability differs by location. Programs include medical billing, medical assistant, medical office assistant, pharmacy technician, criminal justice, homeland security, vocational nursing, nursing assistant, surgical technician, accounting, business administration, marketing, business management, information technology, networking, graphic design, and radiology, to name a few.

Students who participate in the Pharmacy Technician program learn the fundamentals of the pharmacy technician job as well as foundational theories behind the best practices in the industry. The learning is geared towards a hands-on learning style and culminates in an externship that gives students the opportunity of working alongside pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in a retail or hospital pharmacy.

Students learn how to interpret prescription orders from physicians, prepare medications, order inventory, sterilize medication, provide customer service, practice pharmacy procedures in light of privacy and ethics, and engage in medical insurance billing. Students learn fundamentals of anatomy and physiology, biology, pharmacology, and communication.

Once the program is near completion, Everest Institute provides students with job interviewing and resume writing assistance, Internet job search skills, and networking. Everest Institute cannot guarantee employment for all students as a result of graduation, but students can greatly increase their odds by participating in the job placement activities.
