Sports are big in Indiana. There's college football – notably at the University of Notre Dame, but also at Purdue University and Indiana University, both Big Ten schools – auto racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Indy 500), and basketball, which is played fanatically everywhere. Indianapolis is the home of Eli Lilly and Company, the global pharmaceutical manufacturer, and the Indiana Medical History Museum. Southern Indiana geology includes a number of caverns, including the Squire Boone Caverns with underground rivers and waterfalls and Bluespring Caverns, which features boat tours. The Angel Mounds State Historic Site dates from 1100 A.D. and is one of the best-preserved Native American prehistoric sites.
