Indianapolis is the home of Eli Lilly and Company, the global pharmaceutical manufacturer, and the Indiana Medical History Museum. Southern Indiana geology includes a number of caverns, including the Squire Boone Caverns with underground rivers and waterfalls and Bluespring Caverns, which features boat tours. The Angel Mounds State Historic Site dates from 1100 A.D. and is one of the best-preserved Native American prehistoric sites.
