Kaplan College is one of the largest career focused and educational institutions in the United States due in part by revenue and student enrollment. Kaplan College has campuses located throughout a number of states including California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, and Florida. Within each state there are between one and twelve Kaplan campuses in operation. The pharmacy technician program available at Kaplan College is a diploma based program offered at four separate campuses including Vista campus in California, Las Vegas campus in Nevada, Milwaukee campus in Wisconsin, and Dayton campus in Ohio. The diploma program offered at each Kaplan campus prepares students with the education needed to secure entry-level employment in retail pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, pharmaceutical facilities, or residential pharmacies. An in-depth pharmacy curriculum offers studies in pharmacology, medical terminology, physiology and anatomy, biological studies, and laboratory experience. Students also learn how to operate in both the front and back office of a pharmacy setting as well as assist the licensed pharmacist and pharmacy aides. The program prepares students with the skills and education needed to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination and licensing exam.

A professionally staffed career services department provides job search strategies for students looking for part-time and full-time work during school and following graduation. The career services department assists students in their employment search and the preparation needed to successfully land a job out of college. Resources are also available for resume building, interview planning, and career training. Tutors are available through the career services department. Most group tutoring sessions are free while some one-on-one sessions may cost a small fee.
