Medix College is a career college with locations in Atlanta, Georgia; Towson, Maryland; and Woodlawn, Maryland. Medix College is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools as well as the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission. Medix is fully authorized to grant diplomas, certificates, and associate's degrees by the United States Department of Higher Education and the Council of Higher Education Accreditation.

Medix College is designed for each student to obtain gainful employment in their desired field of study upon graduation. Each program is designed to be completed in an efficient manner so the student can begin working within a short period of time. Programs are also as flexible as possible for students who have other commitments such as family and work.
Medix believes in providing career educational training to all students which is reflected in their open door admissions policy. To be admitted to Medix students must have a valid high school diploma or GED. Students are also required to complete an admissions application and meet with admissions staff for a career planning session. Medix also welcomes students with disabilities and offers full accommodations.
The Pharmacy Technician program at Medix is based upon a career-focused curriculum that imparts to students the necessary skills needed to be a successful pharmacy technician in a variety of health care environments. Pharmacy techs work in hospitals, clinics, and retail pharmacies. During the program students are taught such skills as pharmacology, health care laws and privacy related to the pharmacy industry, prescription drug calculations, dispensing prescription drugs, pharmacy best practices, and common drug interactions. Near the end of the program students complete an externship at a qualified pharmacy. The externship provides the student with valuable real-life experience enabling them to transfer knowledge learned in the class to the field. Upon graduation students are provided with job placement services to assist them in obtaining a pharmacy tech position.
