National College
National College was founded in 1886 by J.A. Trimmer in Roanoke, Virginia under the name National Business College. National College is fully accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. It is authorized to award master's, bachelor's, and associate's degrees. National currently has 26 campus locations throughout the states of Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Ohio.

National College offers several career programs in areas of study including accounting, administrative office, business administration, computer technology, information technology, medical, paralegal, radio and television, and tourism and hospitality. The programs at National College are designed with a career-focused curriculum that imparts to students the skills they will need to become a successful employee within their field of study. Since National College is a career focused institution the driving goal of the school is to help each student obtain a career position within their major.
The Pharmacy Technician program is an associate's program that can be completed in two years. A graduate of the pharmacy program will be prepared to work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in a wide array of health care settings such as retail pharmacies, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, out-patient centers, and residential care facilities.
Core courses of the Pharmacy Technician program include Business Math, Body Systems Terminology, Body Support Terminology, Calculation and Administration of Medicine, Health Care Law and Ethics, Systems of Transport and Support, Body Control Systems, Pharmacy Practice and Systems of Operations, Human Diseases, Pharmacology, and Chemistry. Graduates of the program are well prepared to take the Certified Pharmacy Technician examination (CPhT).
To assist students further National College offers a full menu of student services.
