Penn Foster Global is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council. Penn Foster Global offers students the opportunity to start their schooling at anytime. All training programs are self-paced and there is no time table to complete the programs. Students can choose to do their program either online, with DVDs and textbooks, all hard copy materials, or a combination of all the methods. The vast majority of the programs are for beginners and no previous experience is needed. All of the programs at Penn Foster Global are designed with a career-focused curriculum that teaches the skills needed to become a successful employee within the industry being studied. The goal of all Penn Foster Global programs is to help the student learn the skills needed to obtain entry-level employment.

The Pharmacy Technician diploma program offers students the opportunity to become a certified pharmacy technician. The program teaches the fundamentals skills needed to be a successful pharmacy technician. Students learn how to properly read prescriptions, mix medication, dispense prescription drugs, control inventory flow, use pharmacy information systems and software, bill medical insurance companies, and assist pharmacists with several other daily duties. Upon completion of the Pen Foster Global program students will be prepared to work as a pharmacy tech in a wide variety of health care settings such as retail pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, long-term rehabilitation centers, Internet pharmacies, and elderly health care facilities.
