Provo College is a career college located in Utah County and has two campus locations in Provo and American Fork, Utah. Provo College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. Provo College has several career driven programs to choose from that are divided up into the five schools of Health Care, Business, Health and Wellness, Justice, and Design and Technology. While the typical associate degree program takes at least two years of full time study, many of the programs at Provo College can be completed in 18 months. Specific majors offered are Medical Assisting, Nursing, Pharmacy Technician, Accounting, Personal Fitness, Criminal Justice, Graphic and Web Design, Network Administration, and Business Management just to name a few.
The Pharmacy Technician program offers an associate of science degree upon completion. The curriculum is designed to focus on the skills needed to obtain employment as an entry level pharmacy technician. There are also writing, math, and other general education requirements that must be completed. The degree is 91 quarter hours in length. Students will learn skills such as pharmacology, medical laws and ethics, pharmacy customer service, drug classifications and uses, and how to mix and dispense medication. Core courses include:

The program concludes in a six credit externship at an approved pharmacy where students can apply what they have learned in a real world environment. Upon completion students can apply to take the national pharmacy certification examination.
