Technical Career Institute
Technical Career Institute is a career and technical training school located in Miami, Florida. TCI has been offering students with career related associate degrees and diplomas since 1975, and is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. The COE is a nationally recognized accrediting institution and approved by the United States Department of Education. Technical Career Institute is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, which is a branch of the Florida Department of Education.

TCI offers students with career focused programs in fields such as Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Dental Assisting, Hospitality, Medical Assisting, Medical Office Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician. All of the programs are either associate degree or diploma programs that can be completed in one to two years. Classes are also offered during convenient times so students can continue with their commitments while pursuing their education.
The Pharmacy Technician program teaches students the skills they need to become a successful entry level pharmacy technician. Pharmacy technicians work in a wide variety of health care settings such as retail and hospital pharmacies, long term care facilities, rehabilitation clinics, and medical distribution companies. The program is three semesters in length followed by an externship at an approved facility.
Technical Career Institute offers students with a full menu of student services to assist them in meeting their educational and career goals. Services include career counseling to help students decide on what career is a good fit for them as well as helping them find the perfect job after graduation. Students learn how to comprise a winning resume and cover letter, how to network for jobs, how to use the internet as a job search tool, and how to dress professionally. Students also learn how to interview for specific jobs and overcome their fear of job interviewing.
